Joanne Collins is a multidisciplinary Dancer, Choreographer, and Teacher from New Zealand (N.Z)

She holds two awards from New Zealand Prime Ministers - National Young Asthma Achiever, Rotary Young Achiever - won second place in the 1996 N.Z National Ballet Awards, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australia, where she graduated with the award for Most Outstanding Classical Dancer.  

Joanne has toured extensively as a Soloist, Dance Captain, and Aerialist with Royal Caribbean International Cruise Lines, with roles in Singing In The Rain, Gypsy, A Chorus Line, Miss Saigon, Will Roger’s Follies, All That Jazz, 42nd Street, Jump Jive and Swing, Vibeology, Piano Man, Rhythm and Rhyme, and Make Mine Broadway. During her time in Australia Joanne performed as a guest artist with Swing Patrol Melbourne and with them created the Showgirls Dream class series and founded The Foxy Follies Dance Troupe. She also performed at various events including movie premiers, sporting events, television broadcasts, art festivals and music videos. 

Recently while in N.Z Joanne received her British Ballet Organization (B.B.O) Pre-Associate Teacher Diploma and became an Examiner for B.B.O Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Contemporary.

Joanne has performed and choreographed for The Dance Education Centre, The Apollo Theatre Company and The Human Agency including events such as Fight For Life, Queen of the Whole Universe, Skycity Casino New Year 2014, Skycity Casino 2015. She has toured New Zealand with The Glenn Miller Orchestra 2013, 2015 and with The Tommy Dorsey Orchestra 2014.

Her acting experience includes dinner theatre performances with the Apollo Theatre Company, playing Fairy Godmother in Cinderella and Maid Marian in Robin Hood. Her television appearances include roles and extra/stunt work in Spartacus, Shortland Street, The Almighty Johnsons, and Golden.

 

 

Frank Wosar holds a Masters degree in Music Education from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelors degree in Jazz Performance from the University of Miami.  He has been awarded the Down Beat Award for outstanding jazz solo four times and two times by the IAJE.

Currently, he is the lead trombone player for the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, is director of jazz bands at Valencia College, the trombone professor at Valencia College, Southeastern University, and freelances as a trombone player at many venues in town. He can also be seen frequently playing at Disney’s Grand Floridian Society Orchestra, the Main Street Phil Harmonic, and BB Kings Blues Club.

Frank has had the privilege to have played with The Supremes, Hootie and the Blow Fish, John Michael Montgomery, Mark Anthony, Gloria Estafan, Willie Chirino, Ray Ruiz salsa Orchestra, Paul Ankia, Jim Belushi, Jim Widner Big Band, John Fedchock Big Band , Ed Calle Big Band, Arturo Sandavol, Duffy Jackson Big Band, Sam Rivers, KC and the Sunshine Band, the Glenn Miller Orchestra, and many more.
